MY LIFE: GABRIEL JACOBS - THE LIFE FILES INTERVIEW
In this first installment of our My Life series we sit down with jeweler to the stars Gabriel Jacobs in his Rafello & Co. family jewelry business located in New York’s diamond district. Gabriel tells us how his family originally immigrated from Uzbekistan to start a diamond wholesale business which has eventually led to their storefront on the most important block in the jewelry business.
Living up to his company’s slogan ‘dare to be different’ Gabriel shows us some of the custom pieces his company has created including a ruby flooded watch for Cee Lo, a safe accented with black and white diamonds for Busta Rhymes and The Dream’s custom Atlanta Falcons pendant. We also get a look at Rafaello & Co’s baby, a diamond flooded 1 of 1 timepiece and learn about their biggest sale coming from a chance encounter with a Saudi Arabian royal family. Although hip hop jeweler Jacob Arabov is someone Gabriel considers a legend in the business he wants to make it clear that he’s carving his own lane and bringing his own flavor to the industry.

GRILLS BY RAFAELLO&CO SEEN AT AMA AWARDS 2012
Rafaello & Co.’s New line of custom made “Grillz” was seen again worn by one of our top clients at the AMA Awards last Sunday 11/18/2012. Swizz Beatz had custom Grillz pristinely crafted for him by Rafaello & Co and was caught flaunting them at the award show. Custom fitted “Grillz” are always available to be found here at our company no matter where the client may reside or how unique the style may be. We are more than happy that Beatz is yet another satisfied client with his new Jewelry.
